Specifications & Guidelines

Framework All pre-cut and pre-assembled, roof frame is shipped as large as manageable. Fabricated in Select Mahogany, with Fir, Oak or other various hardwoods available as an option. Supporting structures are prefabricated with engineered lumber and hidden steel connectors or structural steel as required by engineer. All joints are glued and screwed with concealed fasteners. All fasteners are steel and stainless steel.

Window & Doors Custom divided lite or simulated divided lite Mahogany, Aluminum clad or prefabricated wood exterior windows in casement, French casement or awning with white or dark bronze roto operaters. Remote switched motorized hardware and solid brass hardware are offered as options. Doors with multi-point hardware are French or single swing. Specifications are infinitely variable depending upon the project.

Glazing System Features double insulated dual seal, tempered over laminated safety roof glass 1" overall, with extruded aluminum cappings in dark bronze or white with concealed fasteners and EPDM rubber gaskets are standard. An internal weep system is incoporated in all our glass roof systems. Low E-argon gas, Heat Mirror and a wide spectrum of reflective surfaces are available as options. All flashings are standard in heavy gauge aluminum and are also available in copper or custom colors.

Ventilation Manual or automatic roof vents with remote switching or motorized exhaust fans are available in most roof applications.

Trim Elements Cast aluminum exterior ornamental fixings are pre-fitted and finished. Traditional ogee, cove or rounded profiles are molded to all frame components and trims to compliment existing details. Structural steel with decorative elements or tension rods and bracketing are included as engineering requires.

Finishes All framework is hand sanded and primed white or natural prior to delivery. All aluminum exterior components are baked enamel, Kynar(colors) 500, anodized, copper or patina finished.

Service All of our products are given individual attention from preliminary design, through contract, drawings and fabrication to delivery. When applicable, site installation, consultation and field training are available. Our designs are subject to change without notice due to ongoing research and development improvements. Our goal is to see that the final user's expectations are completely satisfied in every phase of our service.
